Ketuvat banin dichrin - כתובת בנין דכרין
Ketuvat banin dichrin is a clause in the ketubah stating that a wife's sons will inherit her ketubah, including the refund of her dowry recorded in the ketubah, is she predeceases her husband and then her husband dies.
The Clause

This clause is binding even if it is not recorded in the ketubah; this is an enactment by the rabbinical court [tenai beit din]: Ketuvot 52b
This clause applies whether or not the woman's father gave her a dowry, as a "lo plug": Ketuvot 52b
This clause applies only to sons, and not where the father left behind only daughters, as a "lo plug": Ketuvot 52b
This clause is only applicable where there is at least one dinar remaining in the estate besides the ketubah payment, so that there is some normal inheritance as well: Ketuvot 52b
