If blood or meat or fat becomes impure, no matter how, and no matter whether intentional or not, or whether the offering is from an individual or the group, and it is used anyway, the Kohen's tzitz renders the offering acceptable: Pesachim 16b, 34b; Zevachim 23a-b; Menachot 46a
